Eva Baronsky was born in 1968 and grew up in the Rheingau. She studied interior design and marketing communication and worked as a journalist, as a jam saleswoman, as a graphic designer and as a communication coach. By now she writes novels, plays, libretti and essays. She received the Hölderlin-Förderpreis of the City of Bad Homburg for her debut novel Herr Mozart wacht auf. This novel was followed by Magnolienschlaf (2011), Manchmal rot (2015) and Herr Mozart feiert Weihnachten (2017). Her play based on Herr Mozart wacht auf had its premiere in 2019 at the Next Liberty in Graz.
